It was a hugely encouraging day for Pwllheli rugby today.
The First won a toughly contested match against a very committed Caernarfon side by 20 to 17. The result was further sweetened with the news that Nant Conwy had lost narrowly to Bethesda. This increases Pwllheli's lead to nine points. With Pwllheli having two games to go and Nant having four matches the outcome is still in Nant's hands.
Pwllheli's focus now switches to the critical home match against COBRA next Saturday, With Pwlllheli's suppporters outnumbering Caernarfon's today Pwllheli need bumper support again next week to support our team.
The Seconds trounced Caernarfon by over seventy points and our Youths beat Caernarfon Youths by 10-00 .
It will make the weekend complete if our Ladies team beat Penaln tomorrow. Their kick off is at 2.00 at Bodegroes. Please support rugby here on the Lleyn.
